Simbavati Hilltop Lodge featuring 8 luxury tents, each for 1 to 2 guests, is situated at the north end of the well known natural reserve Timbavati which forms part of the Greater Kruger Park. It offers a beautiful views of the river Nhlaralumi and the impressive Drakensberg Mountain Range. Simbavati takes its name from the local Shangaan language, translated as ”the place where the lions come down from the stars”. The private natural park with low malaria risk is a paradise for Big Five game viewing and over 360 various bird species.
The 5-star Simbavati Hilltop Lounge offers its guests an unforgettable authentic african experience amid 12000 hectares of pristine nature. The lodge consists of eight individual luxury tents, which are arranged like a small village. Each luxury tent lies quite and private and consists of 2 separated tents - one sleeping tent and one bathroom tent, which are connected through a passage. The lodge and the rooms are furnished tastefully in an contemporary, african style. From the infinity pool and the lounge area on the generous terrace, wild animals can be seen. In the early morning and the late afternoon game driving tours are taking place.
