DESCRIPTION

The exclusive private villa Torre dell Aquila lies high above the bay of San Francesco with panoramic views of the sea and the town of Forio di Ischia in a vast Mediterranean garden. It was built by the Italian architects Purini and Mariana - former collaborators of the great film director Rossellini - from local volcanic rock and is a tribute to Italian architecture and modern aesthetics. The building was on the cover of the prestigious magazine "Ville e Casali". The interior design is carefully matched to the character and authenticity of Ischia. It follows the maxim of light and space. Wonderful sunshine shimmers through panorama windows and skylights, which were modelled in the volcanic rock. Antiques are combined with works by local artists and give the interior a wonderful and unique atmosphere.
The circular, thought-out layout of the villa extends over three floors. The interior is cleverly organised and offers comfort and privacy for families and groups of up to 10 people in 4 bedrooms. The villa is a special retreat with various garden and terrace areas offering stunning views over the bay and sea. The pool is ideal for swimming and sunbathing. A wooden staircase leads along the rock down to the sea to a private bathing area.
On request, the chef will prepare traditional Neapolitan dishes for you.
