The exclusive vacation villa Il Poggino has a prime hilltop location in Val d'Orcia with an unobstructed view of the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
Villa Il Poggino is surrounded by 1 hectare of land with a well-kept lawn with pool, sun loungers and gazebo. A road lined with cypress trees leads up to the stylish property. Villa Il Poggino is built of stone and red bricks and offers plenty of space for up to 10 people in 5 bedrooms. The interiors are tasteful and modern while emphasizing the Tuscan roots of the property: original beamed ceilings, stone arches, natural stone and wooden floors harmonize perfectly with the designer iron staircase as well as the fine linen fabrics and soft, contemporary lighting. The fullly equipped kitchen opening to the living room with a circular dining table, comfortable sofas, fireplace and doors to the garden is the heart of the villa. Villa Il Poggino is the perfect place for a relaxing get-together at any time of the year.
You’ll never be bored while staying at Villa Il Poggino! Beyond the enchanting panorama, the silence and relaxation, we also offer countless activities and experiences at the Villa and in its vicinity. We’ll introduce you to the beauty of the Orcia Valley, and offer you opportunities to sample its famous local products and outstanding wines. For a more active holiday, you may participate first-hand in a variety of experiences such as a cooking school where you can learn to prepare a traditional Tuscan dinner, a wine-tasting in the cellar, or an expedition hunting for black and white truffles. We also offer activities for young people and families with small children.
The nearest small village Ponte d'Arbia with first grocery store, restaurant and bar is 2 km away, larger shopping facilities and more restaurants can be found in Buonconvento, 6 km away. The villa is ideally located to explore the extraordinary Val d'Orcia. Siena, with perhaps the most beautiful square in Italy, is also just half an hour away. Wine lovers will be drawn to Montalcino, just under 20 km away, where some of Tuscany's most renowned wines are produced, while fine food lovers can sample the unique handcrafted products of the valley's small towns.

The last stretch to the villa is a dirt road and not recommended for sports cars.
