Villa Florence is located very close to the charming little port of Saint-Florent in the north-west of Corsica, just a few steps from the sea. It was built in 1998 of France's well-known contemporary architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte. Like his other buildings - he designed the interior design of the Louvre - Villa Florence is an architectural masterpiece. A 30 m long roof covers the two separate parts of the building. In the middle between the houses, there is a large veranda with stunning sea views. Furnished with L-shaped lounge furniture, chairs and a large dining table for 14 people this summer patio is the porperty's meeting point. The roof provides protection from the sun and also from a little rain. Both houses are mostly built of natural stone and are spacious and bright. The floors are made of centuries-old oak. The villa is exclusively decorated with attention to details and works of art perfectly complete the special ambience . The seaside location makes this holiday home unique. The villa is surrounded by a large Mediterranean garden. On one side there is the infinity pool, fenced and alarmed with unique sea views. Saint Florent, with it´s restaurants and shops, is just a few minutes away by car. Service as well a chef, who prepares breakfast and dinner on request, are available every day except Sundays. The villa can only be rented as complete property. The minmum rental period is 2 weeks.
