The yachts are registered as professional tourist sailing boats by the Greek Authorities. The expression "professional sailing yacht" means that they passed stability tests and meet with required technical specifications. The experienced skipper and his crew make you feel like you're on your own yacht. The Cyclades are particularly suitable for sailing in early and late summer due to the perfect wind conditions and the quiet harbors. One sailing route leads from/to Mykonos to the islands around Delos and the Small Cyclades; the other itinerary from/to Syros to the Western Cyclades.
A typical day on board: We leave after breakfast for one or two hours navigation, mostly along the coast, before landing in a beautiful cove. Swim, snorkel equipment, paddle or sunbathing are among the options available to you while the crew prepares a meal based on the Mediterranean diet (fresh produce, cooking with olive oil). Our meals include appetizer, main course and dessert. Drinks on board are in "open bar". After a nap on the comfortable sun beds or a new bathing, we go to the port of the next island (one or two hours of navigation), where you can visit or simply stroll and test pubs and local taverns. The boat remains at night in port, so you can come back whenever you want, after, according to your taste, appetite and budget, having dined a souvlaki, Greek salad or a fresh lobster. Some evenings we anchor in a beautiful bay under the stars. Dinner is then being served on board.
Dates: May / June and September / October
Example for sailing cruise Cyclades and Small Cyclades: Exact sailing route and night stops will be specified by the captain depending on wind conditions and weather
Day 1 Sunday Mykonos - Delos Sunday morning embarkation in Mykonos City and departure direction Delos. On the island of Delos the goddess Lethe is believed to have given birth to her son Apollon. The small Cyclades-island with the largest Greek Apollon sanctuary is UNESCO world heritage.
On request guests can already stay overnight in the booked cabin from Saturday to Sunday. Please advise when booking - skipper will then await you at 7 pm at the boat.
Day 2 Monday Delos - Paros After breakfast departure for Paros. Paros is one of the most beautiful islands of the Cyclades with plenty of sights and magnificent beaches. The hilly landscape, white villages, olive groves, lush gardens and golden beaches are typical for Paros. The former fishing village of Naoussa with its picturesque harbor and narrow alleys invite for an evening stroll.
Day 3 Tuesday Paros - Kato Koufonissi - Koufonissi Koufonissia is a small archipelago consisting of the main islands Pano (which means "upper"), Kato ("lower) and Koufonissi. Only Pano is inhabited. The main attraction on the islands is the gorgeous sea with turquoise waters and sea caves.
Day 4 Wednesday Schinoussa The island of Schinoussa is only 6 kilometers away from Naxos and is part of the small Eastern-Cyclades. Schinoussa is still quite original - it is the ideal island for guests looking for quietness and beautiful, secluded beaches.
Day 5 Thursday Piso Livadi / Paros The small fishing port of Piso Livadi on Paros' east coast captivates with its original fish taverns and charming harbor-side cafes.
Day 6 Friday Naxos After breakfast we leave Piso Livadi for our last day at sea. We sail to Naxos, the largest of the Cyclades islands. Naxos’ landscape is extreme, an impressive mountain range stretches from north to south, in the south and the west are long sandy beaches. From the harbor we stroll along the old town. In the afternoon, we sail back to Mykonos where we spent the last night on board.
7. day Saturday Mykonos After breakfast disembarkation.
If there is not enough wind, we sail an alternative itinerary to the small Cyclades islands: Mykonos - Delos - Paros (Naoussa) - Paros (Pisa Livadi) - Schinoussa - Kato Koufonissi - Koufonissi - Naxos - Rineia - Mykonos or Mykonos - Delos - Syros - Bay of Antiparos - Schinoussa - Karo Koufonissi - Koufonissi - Naxos - Rineia - Mykonos
