DESCRIPTION

Design Villa Richard Meier was designed by American artist and architect Richard Meier. Winner of the 1984 Pritzker Architecture Prize, Meier has designed several iconic buildings including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona, the Getty Center in Los Angeles and San Jose City Hall. Villa Richard Meier is one of five exceptional luxury villas in the exclusive Lake Garda Eden Reserve and offers the perfect hideaway for a stylish yet relaxing place of well-being on Lake Garda. The Villa Richard Meier as well as the luxury villas Sphere and Chipperfield by star architects Marc Mark and David Chipperfield are characterised by a high degree of privacy, paired with luxurious comfort in a dreamlike location and fantastic views of the lake. Each villa is unique in terms of design and furnishings, creating an exquisite charm.
Villa Richard Meier is located just a few minutes from the village of Gardone Riviera. The three-storey villa is embedded in the hillside offering magnificent views of Lake Garda. The villa appears almost futuristic: The architecture in white, the very clear geometric-cubic form and large glass surfaces for light-flooded interiors create a striking contrast with the splendid Mediterranean landscape of Lake Garda.
The exclusively furnished villa for up to eight people offers four bedrooms with king-size beds, a private spa area with steam bath, a cosy panoramic living room and a wine bar. A beautiful view goes from the outdoor pool and the large terrace over the Mediterranean park scenery to the eastern shore of Lake Garda and far to the south. The ground floor combines the dining room, kitchen and the living room, which continues outdoors on the floating pool terrace. Upstairs there is another floor that serves primarily as a sleeping area.
The interior is dominated by light and airiness, selected colour accents as well as stylish designer furniture, which give the spacious, open-plan rooms a special aura. The furniture and interior fittings also follow the minimalist concept in terms of colour.
Breakfast, one other meal and cleaning service are included; on request, a personal butler and private chef can be organised for guests during their stay.
