VERDI FESTIVAL IN PARMA 2022
A highlight for all opera and culture lovers and friends of culinary delights
with 2 famous Verdi operas from first category seats
4 days / 3 nights in autumn 2022

1. day
Individual journey to Parma.
If arriving in Bologna by plane, you will be picked up at the airport. Transfer to hotel.
Check – in at 5* Grand Hotel de la Ville, close to the historic town centre of Parma.
The first evening is dedicated to music. From first categoy seat we will enjoy:
Verdi Opera at Teatro Regio di Parma.
2. day
At around 10.00am after breakfast in the hotel we meet our tour guide and driver, who accompany us to Franco Maria Ricci's artwork "The Labyrinth". In the spacious park with its giant labyrinth there are hundreds of exhibits of famous artists, among others from Franco Maria Ricci's huge art collection.
In the afternoon we have free time for a stroll through the beautiful city of Parma.
In the evening our driver picks us up at the hotel and takes us to the opera in Busseto.
In Verdi's native town we experience from first category seats:
A Verdi opera at the Teatro Verdi.
After the opera performance we will be taken back to the hotel.
3. day
Breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards we drive with our tour guide to a cheese factory where the delicious and world-famous "Parmigiano Reggiano" is produced. After visiting the factory we will have the opportunity to taste the cheese.
In the afternoon sight seeing tour in Parma including visit of the old town with its cathedral, baptistery and Teatro Farnese. Time at leisure.
In the evening there is a culinary highlight waiting for us:
Dinner at Michelin Star Restaurant "Parizzi".
4. day
Breakfast at hotel and check-out.
Individual departure or transfer to Bologna airport.
The stay in the hotel can be extended on request. Further excursions and visits can be organised with a German/English speaking tour guide (not included in the rate)
