Sanctuary Baines' Camp is situated high above the Boro River in a private nature reserve bordering the Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana's Okavango Delta. With its large and diverse wildlife, it is one of the best destinations for an unforgettable and unique safari experience. Famous for its big cat and bird population, the Okavango Delta is a peaceful oasis where animals have been protected for decades and know they will not be disturbed. The game viewing on game drives, boat trips, walking safaris and more around the camp is magnificent.
Sanctuary Baines' Camp is a small, intimate safari camp with a total of only six exclusive suites. It was built in a grove of trees on a raised platform with sweeping views over the waters of the Boro River and the beautiful vegetation. Only commercially grown timber was used to build the environmentally friendly camp. Over 150,000 recycled aluminium cans were incorporated within the walls to provide insulation.
Wooden walkways connect the main camp area and the exclusive suites. A pool and the wide wooden deck surrounding the main dining and lounge area are the ideal place to relax and watch the diverse wildlife.
The exclusive 6 suites all have a private deck for wildlife viewing, en-suite bathrooms, a four-poster bed that is mobile and can be slid onto the private wooden deck. For the ultimate indulgence, guests can enjoy a star bath in the outdoor tub under the stars.
