Three luxury villas – Owner´s House, Farm House and River House – are parts of the exclusive, private boutique resort Morukuru Family Lodge. River House can accommodate six adults and four children. Every double bedroom has a fireplace and a shady deck. Children share one bedroom with two bunk beds. River House combines European styling with traditional African pieces. It is an oasis of taste and comfort set amongst South Africa´s untamed wilderness featuring a wonderful indoor and outdoor flow, plenty of places for al fresco dining and several decks to enjoy a siesta under the impressive mighty trees. The heated infinity pool is surrounded by the comfortable loungers for relaxing moments. Morukuru Family Resort is located on the banks of the Marico river in Madikwe Game Reserve in the North West Province of South Africa. Established in 1991, malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve is 75,000 ha in size. Today it is one of South Africa´s top wildlife destinations offering the chance to see a variety of birds and an innumerable spectrum of fish and game including Africa´s 'big five´: elephants, lions, rhinos, leopards and African buffalos.
