This working farm was started by Prof. Giuseppe Ragnotti, grandfather of the current owner, at the end of the 1800s. Professor of Anatomy at the University of Perugia, he always had a great passion for agriculture, so much so that during the second half of his life he dedicated himself completely to the production of wine and olive oil of the highest quality. For some years, the farm activities fell asleep, until the current owners restarted the olive oil production in 2006. When restoring the structure, four untis were changed into uniqe and contemporary suites. No. 2 is the most romantic of the three suites, which is decorated in delicate natural colours: soft beiges, warm browns and tasteful pinks. The bathroom is inlayed with dark, modern tiles, illuminated with silver, and is fitted with a bathtub and hydro-massage shower...the perfect way to relax after a day dedicated to visiting works of art, or spent on the nearby tennis court or golf course. The bed has a canopy and is decorated in perfect 18th century style, a pleasing contrast to the authentic exposed stone walls. A large covered balcony, which by night glistens with glow worms, is the perfect place to read and eat deserts, alone except for the melodies of the birds. The suite measures 47 sqm, of which the bedroom comprises 14 sqm and the bathroom 6.50 sqm. The private terrace measures 13 sqm. Grocery stores, shops and boutiqes as well as excellent restaurants are found in nearby Perugia. The next golf course is only some 13 km away. The minimum rental period is 3 nights.
