DESCRIPTION
The property lies in a quiet location in a small complex with 10 separate houses and a small park, only 2 km away from the renown golf course Erinvale. The holiday home comprises a large living room with high gables and modern, high-quality leather furniture, an open fireplace, flatscreen TV, DVD and an exit to the terrace. Across from the fully equipped, open kitchen with granit countertops and bar one finds the dining table for up to 6 persons. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom and has access to a terrace. The room offers a high, built-in closet, a large flatscreen TV and safe. The beds can be seperated or put together. The high frame, lovely drapes and modern nightstands with classy bedside lamps create a comfortable atmosphere. The second bedroom with the french bed (160 x 200 cm) does also have access to the terrace, a high, built-in closet and a safe. The house is furnished in a restrained Southafrican style. The bathroom with shower/WC is situated directly across the hall. The garden of the villa is hidden and invisible to others and has a pool with a wooden deck around it. The villa is the perfect starting point for golfers, tennis players and people that like to hike or be close to the water. All the sights of the Cape, the famous vineyard Hermanus, which is the perfect spot for whale watching and the Garden Route are close by or easy to reach. The valley Lourensford offers splendid promenades and hiking trails on the foot of Mount Helder, and direct access to excellent vineyards. Somerset West offers many amenities to its visitors: besides the great views of the False Bay and the Table Mountain, the Hottentott Holland- and Helder Mountain in the back, one will find Somerset-Mall, a shoppers’ paradies with more than 100 stores and restaurants, that are open daily. The famous vineyard „Vergelegen“ with the top 100 restaurant Lady Phillips is right next door and the Erinvale Golf Hotel with its Dutch style, two fabulous restaurants with excellent food, bars and a new spa is just 2 km away.
