Spiti Costas

This typically Greek-island style house, built of stone, is in the upper part of the village of Skala. It has a number of scenic terraces which give captivating views of the sea, the harbour and over to the old monastery of St. John. The holiday house is immaculately kept and tastefully furnished in island style, with antique pieces from the 18th and 19th century. The beamed ceilings and tiled floors add to its charm and character. The kitchen is completely equipped, and the household help’s services are included in the price. The sea can be reached in a few minutes, as can the cosy tavernas, from which one can watch the busy life of the harbour, whilst enjoying a glass of Ouzo. A small bathing bay with pebble beach is only 800 m away, but the beaches Grigos, Kambos or Psili Ammos are to be recommended for long, sunny days by the sea. It is also possible to get taken across to some of these bays by the boat, by the locals. But we do recommend hiring a rental car or motor-scooter. All shopping facilities and numerous cafes are found in the harbour town, Scala, which is an easy walking distance away. An overnight on Kos may be necessary, as the flight arrivals and ferry departures cannot always be co-ordinated. We would be pleased to make any such arrangements for you.
