Chalet Steinberg

Chalet Steinberg is located in Leogang in Rain district, in a quiet surrounding on the Steinberg downhill run and only about 500 m from the valley station of the Steinberg cable car. From here guests have direct access to Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn - with its 270 kilometers of slopes one of the largest skiing areas in Austria. The chalet is perfect for winter sports enthusiasts who want to enjoy ski-in/ski-out. A beginners lift for children can also be reached from the house within 100-200m.
Also in summer, the chalet is ideal as a starting point for hiking, for mountain biking but also for guests who want to visit Salzburg, Zell am See, Kitzbühel or the Großglockner, play golf, participate in various activities or simply enjoy the mountains.

Chalet Steinberg was extensively renovated in 2020 with great attention to detail and transformed into an exclusive vacation chalet. State-of-the-art furnishings combined with a charming alpine design create a stylish mountain retreat with magnificent views of the Leoganger Steinberge to the North and the Steinerne Meer to the East. The chalet is built in split level and can accommodate up to 8 people. On the entrance level there is a living/bedroom with bunk beds, sofa bed and separate sitting area - here children have their own space! From the entrance area, a few steps descend to the sauna and the maintenance rooms.
On the garden level you will find the large open living area with flat screen TV, a cozy dining area and a tasteful fireplace room with large panoramic windows. Hobby cooks will enjoy themselves in the fully equipped country house kitchen. A large, well-kept garden and the 2 terraces facing different directions invite you to relax, play, sunbathe or enjoy your meals.
Some steps lead up from the garden level to a mezzanine, where you will find a bedroom with double bed, balcony and a separate bathroom with tub/shower/WC. Further steps take you up to the upper floor. Here, in addition to two bedrooms with a shared balcony, from which guests can enjoy a magnificent view of the mountains, there is also a bathroom with shower / WC.
There is no child protection on the stairs or plugs available in the chalet.

The next, very charming and authentic restaurant is within walking distance from the chalet, otherwise Leogang offers a variety of restaurants for different needs, a well-stocked supermarket, village store, butcher and bakery, all of which are within a few minutes by car.
