Chalet Sonnberg

Chalet Sonnberg is located on the mountain Sonnberg of the village of Leogang, almost 1.000 m above sea level, with a stunning view towards the valley in the southern direction and towards the impressive Leogang Mountains and the Steinernes Meer high plateau in the northern and eastern direction. You can start hiking directly at the chalet, e. g. down-hill to Leogang, to idyllic Ullachtal, to the natural monument Birnbachloch, to different mountain pastures or – being an experienced hiker – to the spectacular Passauer Hut. Chalet Sonnberg is perfect for trips to Zell am See, to Großglockner, to Berchtesgadener Land in Bavaria or to Salzburg. In winter the gondola to the ski area Saalbach / Hinterglemm / Leogang / Fieberbrunn can be reached within a few minutes with the chalet’s private shuttle service. Leogang village offers some shopping possibilities, large shopping centers and boutiques can be found in Saalfelden.

The exclusive Chalets Sonnberg and Birnhorn are expected to be completed in summer 2020 in a modern alpine style using finest natural materials. The huge glass fronts of the spacious chalets offer magnificent views towards the surrounding mountains. First-class high-tech features and a stylish interior with a discreet color concept, wood paneled walls, oak floor and generous use of glass combined with finest furniture create a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere.

Chalet Sonnberg extends across 180 sqm on 4 floors and provides 2 bedrooms for up to 4 persons. The entrance area leads to a living and dining room with fire place, fully equipped open kitchen and access to the south-facing terrace. Both bedrooms feature a Samina sleeping system while one bedroom is located on the upper floor and the other one on the first lower level. The second lower level with its 40 sqm wellness area, sauna, relaxation room and rain shower offers access to the garden and the huge furnished sun deck with infinity pool and hot tub.

A daily gourmet breakfast with fresh local products and the Saalfelden-Leogang Card (free rides in different gondolas in summer and for pedestrians in winter, free entrance to local swimming pools, etc.) are included in the rate.
