The holiday retreat Il Maniaro is the ideal location for guests looking for the privacy and seclusion of rural Italian life without compromising on comfort and luxury. It is very tastefully furnished and perfect in all details; modern technical equipment and exceptional decoration add a sophisticated atmosphere to the property. Il Maniaro is doubtless a very special and amazing holiday residence. Each bedroom has an individual character and is furnished with fine antique pieces. The bedrooms in the ground floor have access to the garden. The marble bath tub in the master bedroom is one of the highlights of the house. The floors have been covered with terracotta tiles according to the traditional handicraft. Il Maniaro offers a lot of space for its guests - inside the house as well as outside. A private, almost 3 km long driveway leads up to the house which has been newly constructed according to the vision of an internal designer. There is a private lake and a infinity pool on the property which offers a beautiful view on the landscape. Next to the pool guests can enjoy delicious Italian meals on the covered external dining area. The rental villa Il Maniaro is strategically located on the border of Umbria with Tuscany and is perfect to enjoy the highlights of both regions: Cortona is in about 20 minutes drive, Perugia in about 30 minutes.

Arezzo
Tuscany is probably the most famous region in Italy. The characteristic hills and cypress alleys have already been layed out and cultivated by the Etruscans and Romans. The special zest of Tuscan landscape, however, is it's versatility. The Apennine Mountains, overgrown with chestnut trees, make up an interesting contrast to the gentle rolling hills between Florence and Sienna that are typical for Tuscany. The numerous small, partly Etruscan villages that are enthroned on the hilltops, are quite impressive. The travel season lasts the whole year, and each season has it's own special colours and atmosphere. Visitors interested in culture will find many art treasures in cities like Florence, Pisa or Sienna, which have made Tuscany one of the most famous cultural centres in the world. And finally, thinking of the delicious Tuscan cuisine and the world-known wines, the only question is when to go on the next journey to Tuscany.
